The Mustard Seed
In our April gathering we discovered Jesus’ story of the Mustard Seed: A Sower sowed a tiny seed, a mustard. The tiniest seed, which grew into a huge tree and all the birds of the air came and made their home in its branches.
The story of the Mustard Seed serves as a powerful reminder of the profound impact that even the smallest acts of faith and love can have. Just as the tiny seed grew into a magnificent tree welcoming all the birds, so too can our own hearts blossom with the seeds of peace, love, and equality. When we nurture these seeds within us, we become vessels of God’s love, working towards creating a world where His Kingdom thrives.
In our craft activity, as we cut out birds and placed them on our trees, we embodied the essence of this parable, illustrating how each of us has a part to play in building a more beautiful and inclusive world.
